Emmanuel Labor saw what Nike did with the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite, and decided that he needed to make his own version of the sneaker. Thus was born this 1 of 1 custom Air Force 1 Low in Eggplant Foamposite. Instead of mimicking what Nike did, eL wanted to capture the true essence of the foamposite, which he felt was in the grooves. So after a lot of testing, eL finished up his design for all to see. It definitely has a more unique look than the Nike version, which instead of the foamposite, stayed true to the look of the AF1.
